This is the one time of the year that our window displays get altered almost monthly starting with our Macmillian coffeemorning where our staff bakers excelled themselves as usual with delicious cakes, cup cakes and even a visit from the Lady Mayor.  We raised over £300 so we are pretty pleased with ourselves.  Cancer affects all of us,  be it directly or indirectly, so we always try to support this charity along with many others throughout the year.

Then we have Halloween to get the little ones involved, a special window with all things spooky and free sweets for the children.  

Our penny for they guy follows  - Remember remember the 5th of November ..

But the most  commented on window is always the Poppy day.  We support this cause and always give donations.  We go to town with our window and this year is special.  The First World War centenary - 100 years since the end of the First World War -  so always a special sad day but more poignant than ever.  Let us not forget  WE WILL REMEMBER THEM  ..   

Finally our sparkly windows and real Christmas tree to finish off a hard business year but always with the promise of a New Year.
